Hey Y'all!

This weekend was wonderful i really enjoyed general conference. Just what i needed to hear every time. I really love the prophet and the apostles they make it easier for me to know what i need and should do in my life to become closer to my father in heaven and also do what i need to do so that i will be able to live with god and his son again. we got to watch a session of it with one of the family members here in the ward and that was a lot of fun! It reminded me of the times i would watch general conference with my family.

We still have a baptismal date for the 19 with our investigator and i am very excited about that. we taught him this week and it was a lot of fun! he is so ready for baptism it turns out he has been reading the book of mormon for over a year now and believes it! its great.
we also have been working hard with our other investigators in hopes to set them up with a baptismal date as well. but i know it will take come time with a few of them. I had a humbling experience this week where i was trying my best to teach an investigator about baptism but it just did not feel right and i knew she needed to hear something else but for the life of me i could not discern her thoughts. then i asked her if she has been praying she replied no she has not and i asked her what was stopping her from praying and she told me she was still a little upset with god and felt like he doesnt want to listen to her or have her talk to him.
it was intense as i tried with my companion to bare our testimonies to her about a loving heavenly father and we committed  her to pray. It was neat though because it reminded me that i CANNOT teach people without the help of the spirit and my heavenly father.

We also had interviews this past week and that was very exciting! i love President Ames he is a wonderful man and really is inspired of God.

love and miss you all!
