Hey yall!
This is my last week of being trained, kinda scary because i do not
know if i am ready yet!
Anyways this past week was a good week, i hate in the mission
sometimes you have a great week and then next week can just be like
blah. then the week after can be good, its confusing i guess there is
no bad weeks on a mission, just some better then others!
We were pretty busy this week we stay busy most of the days, expect
when all of our plans fail and then we dont know what to do haha. But
that does not happen to often... We got to teach Rose and her family
again the law of chastity and she plans on getting married in may or
June but nothing for sure yet, she wants her kids to get baptized on
3/30/13 but we will have to see about that. She didn't come to church
yesterday because she was sick so that was sad.
A couple of funny things happened this week though! On Saturday we
went to Chipotle! yum!!! ( i was craving it ive been here a month and
a half and didnt go till now ) And when we got there some girls
started yelling hey elders!!!! And we had no idea who they were and it
turns out it was the Utah State womens tennis team! They are playing
UTA today i think but we talked to them and got a pic with them!
Apparently one of them is cousins with Kafusi? I told her about my dad
being the BYU coach. Seeing all those mormons there reminded me of
home a little and made me miss going to BYU womens games!
Then yesterday night, ( this story isnt that funny, i think its a little funny )
We parked our car to teach Lee and we taught him this great lesson on
finding faith in Christ. And then when we finished and left our car
was gone. yep we got out car towed! Ya my companion was mad at me
because i told him its fine if we park here because we always do. I
guess not this time. So we spent the rest of our Sunday night going
with the elderly missionaries to Fort Worth to get our car back. And
the impound lot was scary... there were dogs all about guarding the
gates! But we did get our car back after a hefty fine that my
companion and i will have to split!
As Easter comes next sunday i just wanted to let you all know that i
know Christ lived and walked this earth and that he still lives today!
If you have a chance watch the " HE IS RISEN" video on lds.org i know
that Christ lives and that they only way back to our father in heaven
is through his grace and mercy. He died for our us, each of us and i
know he loves us so much!! He showed us the perfect example of how to
live our lives and if we strive to become more like him we will have a
happier life!
LOVE,
Elder Boettcher
