Mexia is doing good though! we have committed our investigator named Cindy to come to church next week! which is super exciting because we have been teaching her for about three weeks now, and she has been reading the book of mormon! she also has been to Navoo and even told us that she felt a special spirit when she was there, she asks a lot of good questions and the crazy thing is that she has never been baptized! I never thought i would meet someone from texas who hasnt been baptized but it happens i guess. She said yes to baptism, but she still has to think about it. she told us she knew it was right though.
We also have been working on doing a family history night at the church and inviting anyone and everyone to help them! which i think will be exciting because i really enjoy helping people with their family history! i should have been a family history missionary! We were actually helping this one man last week and we were searching forever to find some information about his mother and her family but could not! finally we kept searching and found them! he was so happy, which made me so happy! and all i wanted to do was search more for him but he had to leave. but tomorrow we are holding a family history night at the church and we have members coming as well as some investigators and we hope to help them! Hopefully it will be a good missionary opportunity!
I know family history is important and im grateful for my family! and love and miss you all!
Love
Elder Boettcher
