Happy March!
March 3, 2014
Hey Y'all,
Happy march! i cannot believe that it is march! Wow and was Texas throwing me off with their weather. this past week was all nice and in the 70's and i thought we were going to enjoy a nice spring. then yesterday after church we were doing our studies and it started to hail and snow all day! and it was so bad that they had to lock down the cars and we were not able to drive our car! luckily we had a member drive us to dinner and other things but its about 22 degrees right now and im cold.
in other news this wed is transfers!!!!!
and i am leaving Mexia........ and going to......... Burleson! is underneath fort worth so im going up north again and i am going to be in a car area still! :) that is so nice, after being in a car area for six months i was nervous i would be back in a bike area. I am not sure about my new companions name but I'm excited for this new area and things are going to be great!
This past week in Mexia was good. We did a lot of service for other because it was so nice outside and we taught and found a new investigator so that was really fun. And two of our investigators came to church on sunday! yay! that was awesome. I am a little sad to leave the investigators we have in Mexia but i know there are people for me to find in Burleson! I have loved the members and this area, excited for my trainee to get a new companion and start moving on in his mission! We are going to waco today to hang out with some other missionaries for the last p day in the south!
I leave you with a quote from my mission president in a letter he sent us:
"The only thing that can change our situations in life is our personal faith, choice and action. We must exercise our moral agency to act in honest faith not false perceptions. Acting upon a false perception is like beginning a journey with broken compass and outdated map and is sure to lead us to the wrong place."
Love,
Elder Boettcher
