Hey Y'all!

This past week was a really good week, after coming back from my exchange with Elder Black i just had a desire to become a better person in all that i do. I hope that this week i did that. We stayed busy teaching and finding new people. On Saturday actually we were visiting some people and saw this lady who was doing some yard work and we asked if we could help and she said no she was okay. We insisted because she looked like she could use some help. She gave in and told us to come back in an hour and then we could. So we came back and in our church clothes we helped her with some yard work and while we were helping her talked to her about the church and learned some neat things about her. At the end she could not thank us enough, and I love doing service i told her it was nothing, we do what Christ would do. She told us that she wants to come to church and learn more about the church. It was a cool little experience.

We met with our investigators who have a baptismal date this weekend! They are ready for it and i am excited and hope that all goes well for that.  It has been a little hectic planning for it because there are so many baptisms going on this saturday and we have to share a baptismal font with 4 other wards! for some reason our church does not have a baptismal font! haha so its been a little stressful but i think it will be okay in the end, i hope! 4 of our investigators even made it out this sunday to church! It was great!

Yesterday was a lot of fun! because of memorial day we did not get to email leaving us more time to do things. We played tennis in the morning with some of the youth of our ward and that was a lot of fun. A lot of the youth actually play tennis so thats neat! I have not played in so long it felt weird but it was so much fun. After that we went shoe shopping with the joshua elders, and then we went to meet up with other missionaries to play volleyball and that was a lot of fun. this week is transfers so some of the missionaries are leaving which is always sad but Elder Leavitt will be coming to my zone so i will get to see him again! Right after volleyball we went to our dinner and a member was having a pool party for some of the families in the ward and a BBQ that we were invited to. It was kinds mean inviting us to that because it was just a big tease because we could not get into the pool haha. Then we ended our night teaching our recent convert who has such a solid understanding of the gospel its awesome!

Needless to say we have been busy this past week and have a lot of things going on this week that i am excited for! It has been cloudy and rainy the past couple of days and that makes me happy, keeps the heat away a little bit longer! I will be staying here another six weeks in burleson and that makes me happy because i love this area so much!

“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like it's heaven on earth.”

Love and miss yall
