Wow i cannot believe it is june!
This week we had two baptisms! They were sisters we have been teaching for a little over a month and it has been so much fun to see them grow in the gospel. They loved everything that we were teaching them and they really liked all we were doing to help them. And the baptism went really well, we had a lot of good support from the ward who came to the baptism and made it a great experience for the two girls. They are very special girls and I was so grateful to be a part of their baptism.
Now we are back in the finding stage of missionary work. We have a couple of people that we are working with but no baptismal dates or anyone really progressing at this moment. So I am excited to see what kind of people we will find! We have been having a lot of good ideas of things that we could do with the ward to find new people so we will see how fruitful that will become. The members are doing great though! So kind and always willing to feed us and help us with anything that we are in need of. And they always we are trying to find someone for you to teach! That makes me very happy.
It is getting hot here in texas i am really not looking forward to the summer but i hope i am in a car area as long as possible!
The youth of the ward help a talent show this past week that was intended for them to bring their friends of other faiths to come see them. We went of course and out two investigators came but we also had a part in the program! We sang with the young men oh my father and it was a neat experience to be with the youth again. Sometimes i feel so old being 20 haha The youth are great and we are trying to work more with them!
