Another six weeks in Euless

Hey yall!

Well here i am, another week in good old euless. with me new companion. im excited. elder mertich seems like a good guy. we are different in a lot of ways so i guess that will be a good thing but also hard at the same time.  i think things will go well though. He is from sandy utah! yay another utah companion, im starting to wonder if i will ever get a companion not from utah or idaho. Elder Mertlich is my 10th companion! and ive only been out 8 months! haha i thought that was funny!
We have been busy with a lot of different activites and service in the ward and it has been fun! i enjoy being busy and even though we dont get a lot of lessons in our numbers i like being out and about being seen by people.
We had a huge service project on saturday. we went to a high school and they had a back to school fair, and our church had a booth there where people could sign up to have the missionaries come teach their kids study habits. and it was cool because we would take families on tour around the fair and in the 5 hours we did this fair, we had 152 people sign up for the classes we are going to teach. so it was a great missionary tool! im excited to see how it turns out. good thing we will be trained on how to teach kids how to study because im not the best person to come up to for help with studies. it should be interesting.
president ames talked to us about a vision he had of the mission doing no more tracting! that would take a lot of work from the members and everyone else so i think its still far away but its a good idea that i think will happen and work!
we are basically starting from scratch here in euless. so im hoping that everything starts to pick up now that im back in my ward and the ward is getting excited about missionary work.
we celebrated one of the sisters birthday this week at texas roadhouse! and that was a lot of fun!
