Hey Yall.

Hey Family and friends,

We were really busy this week, there was a lot of meetings going on and different things we were doing to try to help the members and gain the trust of the members. Its funny because we are stuck in not teaching a whole lot of lessons at this point. But we have been able to do service and try to find people that way. We even went to Fort Worth to give a blessing at a hospital, but the member left shortly before we got there! So the Samoan members that took us there decided to feed us instead! haha it was fun.

I also had my first zone conference with president Ames! it wasn't nearly as funny as president Sagers but its okay. i still really enjoyed it! It is always fun to get together with other missionaries and feel the power of our callings.

I had a very neat experience this past weekend. We were doing service for the "back to school fair" that we did last weekend. This time it was at a baptist church in Hurst. And when we got there it was exciting because they welcomed us in and they were showing us around and we were getting ready to help the people. In the end there was apparently to many volunteers and they were not a huge fan of what we were doing at our both and the people in charge of the church were upset we were trying to force our religion down people who don't understand us. In the end, they lady in charge basically kicked us out of church.
It was sad, the sisters were mad but it was funny because the member that drove us reminded us of the scripture " you will be hated for my names sake"
I made me really realize how important being a christian is and being a follower and disciple of Christ. It made me want to be a better member of the church and share with people more about the gospel.

We had stake conference this past weekend and it was fun we went to the adult session and it was so cool to be there. This was my first time going to an adult session of stake conference. i was always to busy to go back home but now we didnt have to much to do so president said we could come! and it was a lot of fun. Im learning so much i feel like if i wasnt here in texas i dont know if i would have learned all the things i am learning.

well have a great week everyone!
and remember....
