hey y'all

Texas weather has been really interesting this past week. one day it was in the 70's and then the next day it snowed! of course it did not snow even enough for it to stick on the ground but it snowed and was windy and cold enough that our car was frozen shut! it felt like i was in utah again! brought back some funny memories of being late to school because my car was always frozen and i would not wake up early enough to un thaw it. I was so excited to see the snowflakes. now its just windy and cold.

everything is going good here in mexia texas! we have an investigator who has been coming to church three weeks in a row! its awesome! he is a friend of a member, we have a lesson with him this week and hope to set a baptismal date with him and see if we can't help him progress to that goal in mind. we have a lot of other people who we are going to work with this week and see what we can do to help them.

in the month of january our mission had a total numbers of 48 baptisms! so cool and exciting! i hope that mexia can be one of the baptisms next month.

we stay busy with service opportunities and working with the members its been a lot of fun to help member out and they always make such good food! yesterday we had pancakes for dinner! i can not even remember the last time i had a pancake!
