hello family and friends.

well i hope this email finds yall well! because i am doing just fine!

this week has been a cold one! but im sure you dont want to hear about that.

this week we visited some members that live about 45 mins away and they have peacocks as pets! so cool!!! and they basically had a zoo there. they live in the middle of no where so they can own whatever they want to i guess. its cool though. and was fun to see animals because i have not been to a zoo in forever!

i have grown to LOVE all the members in the branch they are so kind and caring its almost unreal how they treat us as missionaries and i feel like i dont deserve it! way to kind. its been a good week being able to visit members and have dinner with them. i know its helped some of the members want to do more missionary work and i hope it continues to inspire other to share the gospel.

mexia area is doing pretty well, we had a couple of investigators drop us this week. which was sad because its almost more heartbreaking the a break up from a boy and girl relationship! its so sad but i know it simply means there is someone else ready for us and we need to find them. that is the challenging part but luckily the members of the branch have been really emphasizing the missionary work here and i think it will eventually start to pick up. we had our branch president and his wife come with us to a teaching appointment with two investigators and they went really well and the branch president wants to invite them to his house for dinner and a lesson! im excited for them, we have a lot of good things coming up and we hope to find more investigators. we have continued to do service but its not as fruitful as we would like so we have been trying to think outside the box in what we can do to find new investigators.

during personal study i have been studying a lot out of the old testament and its so exciting and interesting all the things that we can learn from it! its not a useless book, its a great book! everything taught in there is or has been taught in this dispensation and i love it. i hope yall are enjoying learning about it in sunday school.

thank you for all the support and love. miss yall!

love
elder boettcher
