Hey y'all

The weather is just so nice! its been in the high 70's this past week and i am really enjoying this weather! although it makes me want to go play tennis, longboard, hike and mountain bike i have to remember that i can do that later.... now i just need to serve the lord! its a little hard though! next p day we might go hiking ( or whatever is considered hiking here in flat texas )

We had zone conference this past week with President and Sister Ames and It was very spiritually uplifting and it was great to hear that the work is so important with the members and we are trying so hard to work with the members and its a lot different here in mexia then any other of my areas and I feel like its almost hopeless sometimes and then after zone conference i realized how its not and we can help our members with their missionary work in bringing more people unto christ! it was a great to learn how important the members are in the work of salvation and how much of a difference they can make in the missionary work. we actually have an appointment with our branch president and he invited one of our investigators over for dinner this friday so we are looking forward to eating and teaching with them.

There are a lot of good things happening in our area at the moment with the effort on missionary work with members and we have gotten a few referrals that we are trying to work with and performing service for others! its been a lot of fun and good work. i hope to find new investigators we are struggling with that at the moment. And having a hard time staying positive with the work but i know i can overcome that if i just keep my faith in the savior and do what i need to do as his servant!!
