Conference & Storms

and we went thrift store shopping! yay

Hey yall,

So before conference this week it was a beautiful week in texas the weather was cooling down and things were going smoothly. Then all of the sudden on thursday when we were walking around we saw some dark clouds heading our way. When out of no where winds were blowing and it started raining! we were running home because it was getting so dusty and windy outside!  we heard sirens and other things going off. it was a crazy storm with winds up to 80mph i think a member told us. It took out so many trees and other things it was nuts! we went out and tried to help people pick up trees and things like for awhile but we did not get to far helping others. most of our members were out of power for a long time! some could not watch conference. arlington has had power problems since then. (hence the email today, power went out in the middle of emailing yesterday)

It turned out to be a great weekend that i had. i love general conference so much i always learn so much from them and they make me want to become better i really want to change even more for the rest of my mission and the rest of my life! I learned a lot about conversion and the importance that plays in our life. That is what i think i have learned the most over my mission and conference that we should never give up being a disciple of chirst, it is a life long commitment and when we make mistakes that is what the gospel of jesus christ is all about. changing to become a better person throughout our whoe lives. I love it! there is hope for everyone! Sorry for the random tangent i, i just really enjoyed conference.

Thing are going in our area. slowly are coming together. We keep trying to work with the members and also the investigators we have!
