Hey yall!
Yay 21!! Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I had a great birthday cannot believe I am this old! As part of my birthday I think God blessed me with some cooler weather! It is 63 degrees right now! :) sweet.
We had a pretty good week. things started off pretty slow and we were busy with finding and did a lot of tracting which is not being as successful as we would hope. maybe I need to change my attitude about it and that would help! In any case we talked to some good people but got no one who was interested. I have a love hate relationship with tracting because I love doing it because its kind of fun and this is probably the only time I will get a chance to do it as a missionary. But I dislike it because its not the best way to find people. At least for me.
On Sunday night though, we have been trying to teach and get in contact with a family that we met a couple of weeks ago and finally last night we caught them all home! We got to teach them a little bit of the first lesson and they are so prepared! the mom has been looking for a "true" church for a long time! they started asking us all these questions and we were having fun answering and talking to them about the church! That made my day we have an appointment with them on Friday, excited to see how that goes. The lord blessed us for sure. I love seeing little miracles like that.
I am doing pretty good still feel like I have lots more to learn and I am studying the scriptures. Learning a ton about how to become more Christlike and how this life is literally for that purpose to change and become converted through Jesus Christ and his atonement and I love that. I really do and I believe it with all my heart. I am trying to do that, it can be hard at times but I am trying to do my best.
Oh we also get to see Meet the Mormons this week! so stoked for that. And then on Friday we are meeting with Elder Craig Cardon of the seventy! It's going to be a great week!
