Wow i cannot believe it is just about Christmas time already!
its been an eventful but slow week at the same time.
We were busy trying to find new investigators which is something that we have been struggling with during the holidays but we were blessed to find a couple new investigators who were interested in hearing more. and it will be fun to teach them and share with them what we know.
last Tuesday we wrapped some church dvds that we get as missionaries ( joy to the world, finding faith in christ, etc.. ) and we went around one night handing them out to all the former investigators that we know! and it was fun to do. a lot of them thanked us and appreciated what we did. and we hope that some of the investigators will be touched by the spirit as they watch the movies and want us to come back and hear more about it.
Then on thursday we had a little christmas devotional with president and sister ames! it was so nice of them. We got together with a bunch of missionaries and ate a nice lunch together then had a chance to watch a movie called " the book of mormon how rare a possession " it was such a good little movie and it made me realized how granted we take the book of mormon sometimes and forget how important it really is. It was a wonderful meeting where the christmas spirit was really felt and it was amazing!
On christmas i get to skype my family i am so excited about that! and we are also going to waco to have district meeting and then a little christmas party with a white elephant exchange! it should be really fun.
