Hey y'all

I cannot believe this day has come for my companion to go home! its kinda weird to think about. its has been a fun three months with him we have had a lot of good times that i will always remember. So this wed. he is leaving, and i get a new companion and guess what. last week president ames gave me a call and told me that he feels that it is time for me to train in mexia! So i will be getting a new missionary and training him here in mexia! that means i will probably be in mexia until march! woah. crazy. i am actually the first elder to train in this area since the area opened back up for missionaries. and i am really nervous to say the least about training here in a small branch! its a little nerve racking but i think it will be a good lesson for me as well where i can learn to trust in the lord more and increase my faith in this area.

It has been REALLY cold here in texas, i never thought it would get this cold! i need to buy me some gloves. It was 28 degrees on saturday and we had a car lock down because the roads were getting so bad that they didnt want any of us driving on the roads. it was a little scary but being from utah driving in this kind of weather is really nothing new to me :)
but what is hard is that texas are not a fan of this kind of weather so its really hard to find people out and about to talk to.  so we have to be creative in finding new ways to get to the people who are not out and about. oh it snowed for like a minute the other day! it was so exciting! we might get snow this week! but im told not to get my hopes up.

we keep finding ourselves moving people. which is good and bad because some move out our branch and some move around our branch making it harder for us to get there.
